Background: Simple and affordable methods for evaluating Insulin Resistance (IR) have been suggested, such as the Triglyceride-Glucose (TyG) index and its variants, including the TyG-Body Mass Index (TyG-BMI), TyG-Waist Circumference (TyG-WC), and TyG-Waist-to-Height Ratio (TyG-WHtR). The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between these TyG-related indices, which measure IR, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).
Methods: This study analyzed NHANES data from 2007-2008, 2015-2016, and 2017-2020.

Since that time, RNA sequencing has become a standard tool for researchers studying RNA biology and led to the discovery of RNA editing sites present in a multitude of organisms, across tissue types, and in disease. Introduction: The global burden of gout, a severe and painful arthralgia, is of note and is expected to increase in the future. We aimed to investigate the association between the triglyceride/high-density lipoprotein (TG/HDL) ratio, a simple and validated biomarker for insulin resistance, and the incidence of gout in a longitudinal setting in the general population.
Methods: Our study was conducted using the National Health Insurance Service-Health Screening Cohort database of Republic of Korea (2002-2019).
