Objective: To determine the efficacy of 10 session body image therapy (BAT-10) in the treatment of anorexia nervosa with adherence to the methodological guidance for complex interventions.
Method: Fifty-five adult inpatients with anorexia nervosa at two national centres received the group-based manualised body-image therapy (BAT-10). BAT-10 was refined, developed and manualised over two decades, by using the mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy, including mirror exposure. Outcomes were evaluated using Body Checking Questionnaire, Body Image Avoidance Questionnaire, Physical Appearance State and Trait Anxiety Scale, Eating Disorders Examination Questionnaire and Quality of Life in Eating Disorders. Participant experience was evaluated qualitatively by an interpretative phenomenological analysis.
Results: Ten session body image therapy achieved highly statistically significant changes in body checking, body avoidance and anxiety, as well as shape-concern and weight-concern, without the between-therapist effects. The quality of life improved globally but not in relation to the psychological subcategory.
Discussion: Ten session body image therapy delivers behavioural and cognitive improvements in body image in the short-term, suggesting an effective, feasible and acceptable manual-based therapy.

Background And Objective: Cloud-based Deep Learning as a Service (DLaaS) has transformed biomedicine by enabling healthcare systems to harness the power of deep learning for biomedical data analysis. However, privacy concerns emerge when sensitive user data must be transmitted to untrusted cloud servers. Existing privacy-preserving solutions are hindered by significant latency issues, stemming from the computational complexity of inner product operations in convolutional layers and the high communication costs of evaluating nonlinear activation functions.

Introduction And Importance: Debulking surgery is the main approach for recurrent adult granulosa cell tumors (AGCTs), but the effectiveness of laparoscopic extensive cytoreduction in advanced cases and its impact on quality of life (QoL) remains unclear.
Case Presentation: A 34-year-old woman, who had a right adnexectomy for AGCT in 2020, was referred with an 8-month history of a large left ovarian cyst and amenorrhea. Preoperative evaluations indicated a recurrence 18 months post-diagnosis.

Purpose: Body acceptance in women with breast cancer is a crucial factor related to their physical, psychological health, and quality of life. However, research on the factors influencing body acceptance in this population is lacking. This study aims to identify these factors to provide insights for developing tailored interventions.

Diagnostic cardiologists have considerable clinical demand for precise segmentation of echocardiography to diagnose cardiovascular disease. The paradox is that manual segmentation of echocardiography is a time-consuming and operator-dependent task. Computer-aided segmentation can reduce the workflow greatly.

Objective: The aim of this study was to intraindividually compare the conspicuity of focal liver lesions (FLLs) between low- and ultra-low-dose computed tomography (CT) with deep learning reconstruction (DLR) and standard-dose CT with model-based iterative reconstruction (MBIR) from a single CT using dual-split scan in patients with suspected liver metastasis via a noninferiority design.
Materials And Methods: This prospective study enrolled participants who met the eligibility criteria at 2 tertiary hospitals in South Korea from June 2022 to January 2023. The criteria included (a) being aged between 20 and 85 years and (b) having suspected or known liver metastases.
