Introduction: Although there are numerous options for epilepsy treatment, its effective control continues unsatisfactory. Thus, search for alternative therapeutic options to improve the efficacy/safety binomial of drugs becomes very attractive to investigate. In this context, intranasal administration of antiseizure drugs formulated on state-of-the-art nanosystems can be a promising strategy.

Background: Nurses who experience verbal abuse often report negative emotions, which can affect their work status and nurse-patient relationship. However, to the best of our knowledge, no study has summarized the prevalence of verbal abuse among nurses by different perpetrators and related risk factors.
Aim: This review aimed to synthesize the prevalence of verbal abuse among nurses and identify the most common sources and related risk factors.

Introduction: Obesity may increase complexity of surgical procedures and increase the risk of perioperative complications. Weight reduction by the use of low energy diet (LED, ≤1200 kcal/day) or very low energy diet (VLED, ≤800 kcal/day) can reduce postoperative complications after bariatric surgery, but for most other types of surgery the evidence for its use remains uncertain. The aim of this systematic review was therefore to evaluate the scientific evidence in general for this routine.

Background: Knee loading is associated with the severity and progression of knee osteoarthritis, while knee pain contributes to reduced functional ability and quality of life. In this systematic review, we quantified knee loading and knee pain during different daily activities in people with knee osteoarthritis and explored methodological reasons for differences between studies.
Methods: PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and manual searches were performed up to July 2024, to retrieve studies measuring knee loading and knee pain in walking, sit-to-stand and stair climbing of people with knee osteoarthritis.

Purpose: This head-to-head comparative meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the comparative diagnostic efficacy of [F]FDG PET/CT and dynamic contrast-enhanced CT(DCE-CT) for the differentiation between malignant and benign pulmonary nodules.
Methods: An extensive search was conducted in the PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science to identify available publications up to March 23, 2024. Studies were included if they evaluated the diagnostic efficacy of [F]FDG PET/CT and DCE-CT for the characterization of pulmonary nodules.
