Surgical treatment for an atherosclerotic huge coronary aneurysm is very rare. We have reported 58 years old male who had a huge growing aneurysm in left circumflex coronary artery and underwent aneurysmectomy and coronary-coronary bypass grafting with saphenous vein.

Background Limited data exist on long-term readmission and its association with patient and procedural characteristics after coronary artery bypass grafting. We aimed to investigate 5-year readmission after coronary artery bypass grafting and specifically focus on the role of sex and off-pump surgery. Methods and Results We performed a post hoc analysis of the CORONARY (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting [CABG] Off or On Pump Revascularization) trial, involving 4623 patients.

Background: The method of coronary-coronary bypass grafting was described in 1987 but has not been widely used, and there are only a few studies that report good short-term and mid-term results as well as some individual cases of long-term follow-up. In our medical institution, we carried out an analysis of the long-term results of coronary-coronary bypass grafting, which are presented in this study.

Methods: This was a retrospective single-center study on 95 patients who underwent coronary-coronary bypass grafting as a supplement to the standard coronary bypass grafting procedure.

Objective: To evaluate the long-term outcomes of coronary artery disease patients with left main stem and/or multi-vessel disease receiving percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or coronary artery bypass graft(CABG).

Methods: PubMed, EMBase, Cochrane central register of controlled trials were searched to identify randomized controlled trials concerning the long-term outcomes of PCI and CABG in coronary artery disease patients with left main stem and/or multi-vessel disease before May 2013.Keywords included "angioplasty", "coronary", "coronary artery bypass surgery" and "stent".

A best evidence topic in cardiac surgery was written according to a structured protocol. The question addressed was whether off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery offered superior long-term outcomes compared with on-pump CABG surgery. Best evidence papers were considered to be those that had a follow-up period of ≥5 years, had >50 patients in either cohort, did not utilize concomitant interventions nor comprised low-risk, high-risk or sub-population groups.
