Several diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic urological procedures, such as stent placement, ureteroscopy, and bladder stone lithotripsy, can be performed in a hospital, an ambulatory surgery center, in the office with IV sedation, or in the office using only topical anesthesia. The potential benefits of performing procedures in the office setting using topical anesthesia include efficiency and cost reduction. The potential harms are failure to achieve the desired outcome and patient pain.

Various behavioral health crisis models have been developed to advance the shared goals of improving behavioral health outcomes and increasing diversion from criminal legal systems. The effectiveness of these models is promising, yet research is needed to understand their comparative advantages. This study compares the effectiveness of three community mental health response models-co-response, mobile response, and office-based response-and law enforcement-only response in addressing key behavioral health and diversion goals.

Hemorrhoidal disease (HD) is a prevalent proctological condition that has puzzled people since ancient times, and the most common symptom is painless bleeding. Background: Treating options for vocal fold cysts became more diversified with office-based laryngological surgery advances, offering new soft interventions, promising a good vocal outcome within a shorter healing period.
Methods: We proposed two types of in-office surgeries, performed in the outpatient setting: a cyst punction-aspiration emptying the cyst, relieving its tension and improving the mucosal wave, with 4 cases showing no refilling within one year of follow-up, and a cyst marsupialization with Blue Laser, with 3 reported cases showing good vocal fold healing within three months.
Conclusion: Both techniques showed promising results in improving vocal function and minimizing recovery time.

Objective: Infantile subglottic hemangioma (SGH) poses a risk of airway compromise if untreated. Traditionally, operative endoscopy (OH) diagnoses SGH, but since the discovery of beta-blockers' efficacy in treating infantile hemangiomas (IHs) in 2008, and advances in endoscopic technology, nonoperative methods have emerged. This review identifies endoscopic practices for diagnosing and monitoring infantile SGH during the oral beta-blocker treatment era.
