In acute experiments on cats, the gastric vascular bed being perfused under constant blood flow, the actions of gastric vessels was investigated using newly elaborated approach to their humoral isolation. Increased doses of noradrenaline elicited the dose-dependent constrictive response of gastric arterial vessels. Perfusion pressure increase in the gastric vascular bed under action of the minimal dose of noradrenaline was more pronounced, than in the intestinal vessels. The capacity of the gastric vascular bed under action of the drug changed in different manner, mostly increased, but could be decreased as well. In contrast to the small intestine the gastric vessels are characterized by more pronounced action of noradrenaline on blood depoting processes.

This case report highlights a potential vaccine safety concern associated with the Pseudorabies virus (PRV) live vaccine, which warrants further investigation for comprehensive understanding. Vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT), a novel syndrome of adverse events following adenovirus vector COVID-19 vaccines, was observed after vaccination with Zoetis PR-VAC PLUS. This led to a 100% morbidity and high mortality among PRV-free Danish purebred pigs from Danish Genetics Co.

Background: Patients with asthma exhibit a significantly heightened susceptibility to eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) when compared to the general population. Vigilance for EGPA manifestations is crucial, especially in cases where asthma remains poorly controlled despite high-dose corticosteroid therapy or when eosinophil counts exceed 5%. The diagnosis of EGPA can be complex due to the absence of definitive biomarkers, as indicated by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR)'s 1990 classification criteria.

Angiogenesis, a meticulously regulated process essential for both normal development and pathological conditions, necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the endothelial mechanisms governing its progression. Leveraging the zebrafish model and NgAgo knockdown system to identify target genes influencing angiogenesis, our study highlights the significant role of gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP) and its receptor (GIPR) in this process. While GIP has been extensively studied for its insulinotropic and glucagonotropic effects, its role in angiogenesis remains unexplored.

Background: Adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEGJ) is a highly aggressive tumor that frequently metastasizes to the liver. Understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive this process is essential for developing effective therapies.
Methods: We employed single-cell RNA sequencing to analyze the tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental landscape in patients with AEGJ liver metastases.

Microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) affects small and medium vessel, which sometimes leads to arterial aneurysms. In English database, only 15 reports refer to ruptured aneurysms in MPA. We experienced a fatal case with MPA who developed multiple visceral aneurysms, resulting in rupture of the hepatic aneurysm.
