Background: Intravenous Ferumoxtran-10 belongs to ultra-small superparamagnetic iron oxide particles and can be used for magnetic resonance neurography (MRN) as an alternative to other imaging methods which use contrast agents.
Purpose: To examine the impact of intravenous Ferumoxtran-10 on vascular suppression and compare image quality to gadolinium (Gd)-enhanced image acquisition in MRN of lumbosacral plexus (LS).

Objectives: To assess 3-Tesla (3-T) ultra-small superparamagnetic iron oxide (USPIO)-enhanced MRI in detecting lymph node (LN) metastases for resectable adenocarcinomas of the pancreas, duodenum, or periampullary region in a node-to-node validation against histopathology.
Methods: Twenty-seven consecutive patients with a resectable pancreatic, duodenal, or periampullary adenocarcinoma were enrolled in this prospective single expert centre study. Ferumoxtran-10-enhanced 3-T MRI was performed pre-surgery.

Background: The anti-Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (termed aPD-L1) immune checkpoint blockade therapy has emerged as a promising treatment approach for various advanced solid tumors. However, the effect of aPD-L1 inhibitors limited by the tumor microenvironment makes most patients exhibit immunotherapy resistance.
Methods: We conjugated the Sialyl Lewis X with a polyethylene glycol-coated ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide (USPIO-PEG) to form UPS nanoparticles (USPIO-PEG-SLe, termed UPS).
