Inflammation in the periapical area of primary teeth can affect the development and eruption of permanent teeth. In an asymptomatic course, they are detected accidentally during routine examinations. In such cases, they often reach significant dimensions and cause irreversible changes.

The factors leading to mine water inrush accidents are mainly sources of water, water channels, and intensity of water inrush. Mine water rush depends mostly on whether damage leads to the overlying strata of the working face penetrating the overlying aquifer. There is therefore a need to characterize how the overlying strata of the coal seam roof fails and the development height of the water-conducting fracture zone during a roof water inrush incident.

The prevalence of oromaxillofacial fracture in pediatric patients is comparatively less than in adults, which could be due to several inconclusive factors, such as infrequent exposure to high-contact sports games, rash driving of vehicles and motorbikes, alcohol consumption, and fist fights for personal reasons under the influence of alcohol. More importantly, most of the time, children are under the care of their parents till they reach an age of maturity. One more thing that everyone believes even today is the elasticity nature of their bones as well as their body weight during their growing stage.

Background: Treadmill belt perturbations have high clinical feasibility for use in perturbation-based training in older people, but their kinematic validity is unclear. This study examined the kinematic validity of treadmill belt accelerations as a surrogate for overground walkway trips during gait in older people.
Methods: Thirty-eight community-dwelling older people were exposed to two unilateral belt accelerations (8 m s-2) whilst walking on a split-belt treadmill and two trips induced by a 14 cm trip-board whilst walking on a walkway with condition presentation randomised.

In addition to the usual loads, fixed jacket offshore platforms can be exposed to accidental loads from ship collisions. Indentation of tubular components is a significant defect that occurs when a supply vessel collides with a jacket platform, which can affect the ultimate strength of the offshore platform. This paper performs a nonlinear dynamic analysis using ABAQUS software to evaluate the ultimate strength of a wellhead jacket platform and to investigate its structural response to two consecutive impacts from a 2700-ton ship.
