N-acyl/sulfonyl-α-phosphonated 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroiso-quinolines (THIQs) are highly important structural motifs in organic synthesis and drug discovery. However, the one-pot approach enabling direct difunctionalization of THIQs remains challenging.
