A short-cut review was carried out to determine whether cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) opening pressure is significantly affected by the patient's leg position during the procedure. A total of 1410 papers was found using the reported search, of which five were considered relevant to the three-part question. The author, date and country of publication, patient group studied, study type, relevant outcomes, results and study weaknesses are shown in table 3. It is concluded that alternative leg positions may affect the opening pressure by a small margin but this is unlikely to be of clinical significance.

The solder burrs on the 304V wire surface can easily scratch the vascular tissue during interventional treatment, resulting in complications such as medial tears, bleeding, dissection, and rupture. Abrasive blasting is often used to remove solder burr and obtain a smooth surface for the interventional device. This study conducted an abrasive blasting experiment to explore the effects of process parameters (air pressure, lift-off height, abrasive volume, and abrasive type) on processing time, surface roughness, and mechanical properties to reveal the material removal mechanism.

Background: In children, pseudopapilledema is frequently caused by peripapillary hyperreflective ovoid mass-like structures (PHOMS) or optic disc drusen (ODD). The laminae of varying lithologies are characteristic of shale oil reservoirs, with their pronounced heterogeneity and fluid-solid coupling significantly impacting oil productivity. To this end, this study initially quantified the permeability and mechanical heterogeneity in lamina-developed shale through permeability tests and quasi triaxial mechanical experiments on shale cores from different orientations in the Jiyang Depression. These tests revealed marked brittleness in horizontally oriented cores and elasticity in vertically oriented cores.

In homogeneous catalysis, uncovering structure-activity relationships remains very rare but invaluable to understand and rationally improve performances. Here, generalizable structure-activity relationships apply to a series of heterodinuclear polymerization catalysts featuring Co(III) and s-block metals M(I/II) (M= Na(I), K(I), Ca(II), Sr(II), Ba(II)). These are shown to apply to polycarbonate production by the ring-opening copolymerizations (ROCOP) of cyclohexene oxide (CHO) and carbon dioxide (CO2), conducted at high (20 bar) and low (1 bar) CO2 pressures, and to polyester production by copolymerization of cyclohexene oxide and phthalic anhydride (PA).
