Objective: Medical personnel show difficulty in differentiating psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES) from epileptic seizures (ES). The purpose of this study was to conduct an initial feasibility assessment of the global dynamic impression (GDI) principle and to evaluate its effectiveness in enabling the diagnosis of epileptic versus psychogenic seizures using video footage of events, even by untrained personnel METHODS: We based this study on video footage showing five videos of PNES and five ES videos. We asked physicians and nurses from the emergency department, internal medicine department, neurology department, and medical students to classify the videos before and after learning the GDI principle.

While allograft loss due to acute rejection has been dramatically reduced due to the introduction of immunophilins, this therapy has little effect on allografts lost due to chronic vascular rejection. This situation may be due to a misnomer of the pathology. Specifically, its designation as 'chronic rejection' has given the wrong impression that the cause of the disease has been identified.

Safefy-critical domains often employ autonomous agents which follow a sequential decision-making setup, whereby the agent follows a policy to dictate the appropriate action at each step. AI-practitioners often employ reinforcement learning algorithms to allow an agent to find the best policy. However, sequential systems often lack clear and immediate signs of wrong actions, with consequences visible only in hindsight, making it difficult to humans to understand system failure.
