Si-nanowire (NW)-array-based NOT-logic circuits were constructed on plastic substrates. The Si-NW arrays were fabricated on a Si wafer through top-down methods, including conventional photolithography and crystallographic wet etching, and transferred onto the plastic substrates. Two field-effect transistors were fabricated on a single Si-NW array composed of five nanowires aligned in parallel and connected in series to form NOT-logic circuits. The excellent flexibility of the fabricated device was confirmed by bending-cycling tests. The voltage-transfer curve of the NOT-logic circuits showed an inverting operation with a logic swing of -92% and voltage gain of -2.5.

A rapid and effective strategy has been devised for the swift development of a Zn(II)-ion-based supramolecular metallohydrogel, termed Zn@PEH, using pentaethylenehexamine as a low molecular weight gelator. This process occurs in an aqueous medium at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. The mechanical strength of the synthesized Zn@PEH metallohydrogel has been assessed through rheological analysis, considering angular frequency and oscillator stress dependencies.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is an aggressive disease with a poor prognosis (5-year survival rate of 30.5% in the United States). Designing cell therapies to target AML is challenging because no single tumor-associated antigen (TAA) is highly expressed on all cancer subpopulations.

Building synthetic molecular circuits is an important way to realize ion detection, information processing, and molecular computing. However, it is still challenging to implement the NOT logic controlled by a single molecule input in synthetic molecular circuits wherein the presence or absence of the molecule represents the ON or OFF state of the input. Here, based on lambda exonuclease (λ exo), for the first time, we propose the normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) switching strategy with a unified signal transmission mechanism to build molecular circuits.

In relation to conventional vacuum-based processing techniques inkjet printing enables upscaling fabrication of basic electronic elements, such as transistors and diodes. We present the fully inkjet printed flexible electronic circuits, including organic voltage inverter which can work as a NOT logic gate. For this purpose the special ink compositions were formulated to preparation of gate dielectric layer containing poly (4-vinylphenol) and of the semiconductor layer poly[2,5-(2-octyldodecyl)-3,6-diketopyrrolopyrrole-alt-5,5-(2,5-di(thien-2-yl)thieno [3,2-b]thiophene)].
