Objectives: To evaluate and compare the efficiency, marginal leakage and shear bond strength of Carisolv and Papacarie in primary molars.
Method: Freshly extracted 60 human carious primary molars were randomly divided into two experimental groups--Group I [caries removal by Carisolv] and Group II [caries removal by Papacarie]. The amount of time taken for complete caries removal was recorded using a stopwatch. After bonded restorations, both the experimental groups were further randomly subdivided into four experimental groups and subjected to marginal leakage and shear bond strength evaluation.
Results: Papacarie [337.67 +/- 18.13] was clinically more efficient than Carisolv [461.33 +/- 27.76] in removing caries with respect to time in seconds. 66.7% of teeth treated with Carisolv did not show any marginal leakage as compared to 20% with Papacarie. The mean [ +/- SD] shear bond strength of Carisolv [9.67 +/- 3.80] treated teeth was slightly more when compared to Papacarie [8.36 +/- 4.51].
Conclusion: Papacarie was clinically more efficient in caries removal but showed significantly more marginal leakage than Carisolv.

A 4-year-old female spayed mixed-breed dog received enucleation surgery of the right eye in 2018 following the diagnosis of glaucoma. The patient was presented in 2021 for recurrent swelling of the right orbit. Ultrasound confirmed the presence of a cystic structure, and chemical ablation with 1% polidocanol (compounded, Stokes Pharmacy, Mt.

Background And Aim: In this retrospective single center cohort study, we report the surgical outcomes of nephron-sparing surgery (NSS) for Wilms' tumor (WT) patients since centralization of pediatric oncology care in the Netherlands, and implementation of technological advancements. Therewith we describe the influence of experience and innovations for this type of surgery.
Methods: We retrospectively assessed all NSS procedures from January 1st 2015 until January 1st 2024 for patients who underwent surgery for a renal tumor at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology.

Aim: Natural orifice specimen extraction surgery (NOSES) has gained significant importance in treating cancers. The current study is a meta-analysis that aimed to assess the short-term efficacy and long-term prognostic impact of NOSES and conventional laparoscopic (CL) surgery in the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC).
Method: Published reports in several medical databases up to February 2024 were searched and information pertinent to outcomes of NOSES and CL in retrospective and randomized studies to treat CRC was collected.

Background: Neuroendocrine liver metastases (NELM) significantly reduce survival in patients with neuroendocrine tumor. The management of NELM is challenged by a low rate of resectability and a high rate of recurrence. Indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence imaging offers potential advantages in real-time tumor visualization and margin assessment.

The production of medicinal plants under stressful environments offers an alternative to meet the requirements of sustainable agriculture. The action of mycorrhizal fungus; Funneliformis mosseae and zinc in stimulating growth and stress tolerance in medicinal plants is an intriguing area of research. The current study evaluated the combined use of nano-zinc and mycorrhizal fungus on the physiochemical responses of Dracocephalum moldavica under salinity stress.
