Introduction: Extrapolated reference values (E-Ref) procedure is a new method for determining the cutoff value without collecting the control data. We tried to apply this method to determine the cutoff value for the distal motor latency of the median nerve (median DML). During this process, we found two pitfalls of the E-Ref method.

Real-time monitoring and anomaly detection are essential in healthcare to ensure safe conditions for patients and maintain the integrity of medical data samples. The majority of existing systems, despite improvements in healthcare technologies, cannot capture the spatial and temporal patterns of multimodal data simultaneously, process high Volume data in real-time, and ensure the privacy of patients' identity effectively. In this work, we handle these limitations by proposing a complete approach that uses state-of-the-art deep learning and data processing architectures to realize resilient anomaly detection in healthcare systems.

Objective: Given the critical role of general practitioners (GPs) in the early diagnosis and management of asbestos-related diseases (ARDs), and the significant history of asbestos fibres pollution in Alessandria Local Health Authority (ASL AL), this project aimed to assess the knowledge and awareness of asbestos risks, as well as the experience in diagnosing ARDs among GPs working in Alessandria province, Northern Italy.
Methods: A questionnaire was administered to 216 GPs from all ASL AL territorial districts during 26 Territorial Assistance Equipes (EATs) meetings, held from September 2022 to January 2023. It contained 29 questions covering three main areas: 'knowledge and awareness', 'competence and experience', 'sociodemographic characteristics and workload'.

Purpose: This study assesses sleep quality amongst hemodialysis (HD) patients and identifies contributing factors, which include demographic and clinical factors and significant symptoms associated with HD (ie, fatigue and pruritus).
Patients And Methods: In this cross-sectional design, 116 participants were recruited from HD units of two hospitals in Saudi Arabia. Three measures were used to identify predictors of sleep quality among HD patients, including the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS), and the 5-D itch scale.
