Aim: To determine feasibility and reliability of the integrated Tele-Radiological (TRE) and Tele-Pathological (TPE) evaluation of the Renal Graft (RG) on Telemedicine Systems (TS).
Material And Methods: A sensitivity-specificity analysis by a simulation of the TRE of RG on 15 MR abdominal images by a radiologist and of the TPE of RG by 26 specialists based on 130 human RG images assessing damages and lesions.
Results: The integrated analysis of TRE and TPE of RG showed: Sensitivity=96.7%, Specificity=100% and Accuracy=97.6%.
Conclusion: The TRE integrated with the TPE of RG is feasible and reliable for RG transplant decision support and planning.

Background: Each year, nearly 400,000 new cases of paediatric hydrocephalus are estimated to occur worldwide, and almost half of these cases are expected to affect children in Africa. At Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH), an urban tertiary hospital in Blantyre, Malawi, located in south-east Africa, around 200 children received neurosurgical treatment for hydrocephalus in 2023. These children require lifelong follow-up and care, which places significant demands on their caregivers.

Urological diseases and their varied forms of management warrant special attention in the setting of climate change. Regarding urological cancers, climate change will probably increase the incidence and severity of cancer diagnoses through exposures to certain environmental risk factors, while simultaneously disrupting cancer care delivery and downstream outcomes. Regarding benign urological diseases, a burgeoning body of work exists on climate-related heat waves, dehydration, urolithiasis, renal injury and infectious and vector-borne diseases.

Background: Heart failure (HF) is a chronic, progressive condition where the heart cannot pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. In addition to the daily challenges that HF poses, acute exacerbations can lead to costly hospitalizations and increased mortality. High health care costs and the burden of HF have led to the emerging application of new technologies to support people living with HF to stay well while living in the community.

Background: In the realm of Evidence-Based Medicine, introduced by Gordon Guyatt in the early 1990s, the integration of machine learning technologies marks a significant advancement towards more objective, evidence-driven healthcare. Evidence-Based Medicine principles focus on using the best available scientific evidence for clinical decision-making, enhancing healthcare quality and consistency by integrating this evidence with clinician expertise and patient values. Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and Patient-Reported Experience Measures (PREMs) have become essential in evaluating the broader impacts of treatments, especially for chronic conditions like HIV, reflecting patient health and well-being comprehensively.
