Aim: To search feasibility and reliability of Telemedicine Systems (TS) in the procurement of Renal Transplantation.
Material And Methods: By an experimental TS, twenty six (n=26) specialists based on a hundred and thirty (N=130) simulated remote image examinations, assessed sensitivity-specificity of the remote examination of Renal Graft (RG) about diseases and damages (Virtual Benching=VB).
Results: Analysis showed: injuries (sensitivity=100%), injuries of the capsula (sensitivity=100%), hematomas (sensitivity=96.2%), non neoplasmatic diseases (specificity=100%), tumors (sensitivity=100%).
Conclusion: The VB of RG after retrieval is feasible and reliable for prevention of damaged renal RG from being sent to the recipient hospital and for transplant planning.

Background: Patients with Gaucher disease (GD) require continual monitoring; however, lack of specific disease biomarkers was a significant challenge in the past. Glucosylsphingosine (lyso-Gb1) has been shown to be a reliable, key, specific, and sensitive biomarker for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment response in clinical studies of patients with GD. We evaluated the change in lyso-Gb1 concentration over time following enzyme replacement therapy in patients with confirmed GD using real-world data from the Gaucher Outcome Survey disease registry.

Background: Latinx adults experience disparately high rates of chronic diseases and cognitive dysfunction. Participating in cognitive-stimulating activities, such as reading, is thought to improve and preserve cognitive function. However, little is known about cognitively stimulating activities preferred by Latinx adults.

Introduction: The 6-minute walk test (6MWT) is used to assess submaximal exercise capacity in clinical trials. Conducting the 6MWT can be challenging when patients cannot visit the clinic due to physical/travel limitations. This pilot study assessed the feasibility of conducting the 6MWT using wearable sensors for patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy.

Background: The reliability of sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in patients with initially node-positive breast cancer is still controversial. This meta-analysis is conducted to investigate the feasibility and accuracy of SLNB after NACT in patients with initially positive axillary nodes.
Methods: We conducted a literature search using Medline, PubMed, Embase, Central, and SCOPUS up until April 2021 for studies on the performance of SLNB following NACT.
