The 58 cervical biopsies were studied by cytological, histological, immunomorphological methods, electron microscopy and PCR. Expression of L1 was observed only in the differentiated cells of squamous and metaplastic cervical epithelium. At increase of grade of cervical epithelial lesion decrease expression L1 from 75% of cases of CIN1 up to 28.5% of cases of SCC. Not all capsid structures connect with DNA HPV in case of CIN3.

In this paper, a series of oxadiazole/thidiazole containing coumarin derivative derivatives were designed, synthesized and characterized using NMR and HRMS. The evaluation of antiviral activity revealed that some of the synthesized compounds exhibited good in vivo antiviral efficacy against tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). Notably, compounds H6 and Y5 demonstrated exceptional therapeutic and protective effects against TMV, with EC values of 180.

A significant limitation of imaged capillary electric focusing (icIEF) is the inability to identify and characterize specific species in the electropherogram. This has led to the development of complementary ion-exchange chromatography (IEX)-based methods that are amenable to either fraction collection and subsequent characterization or online IEX coupled to mass spectrometry. To overcome this limitation while maintaining the use of icIEF, novel approaches, including an icIEF separation and fractionation technology (MauriceFlex, ProteinSimple), have been developed.

Here we demonstrate that the UFMylation system, a post-translational modification system that catalyzes the transfer of UFM1 onto proteins, promotes infection by multiple orthoflaviviruses including dengue virus, Zika virus, West Nile virus, and yellow fever virus. We found that depletion of the UFMylation E3 ligase complex proteins UFL1 and UFBP1, as well as other UFMylation machinery components (UBA5, UFC1, and UFM1), significantly reduces infectious virion production for orthoflaviviruses but not the hepacivirus, hepatitis C.

The numerous high-risk carcinogenic types of human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) that lack vaccine protection underscore the urgent need to develop broader-spectrum HPV vaccines. This study addresses this need by focusing on HR-HPV types 53, 56, and 66, which are not currently targeted by existing vaccines. It introduces an effective method for their soluble expression, as well as that of their mutants, within an Escherichia coli expression system.
