Benign liver tumors are common lesions that can be classified into cystic and solid lesions. Cystic lesions are the most frequent; however, they rarely represent a diagnostic or therapeutic challenge. In contrast, solid lesions are more difficult to characterize and management remains controversial. The wide availability and use of advanced imaging modalities, including ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging have led to increased identification of incidental liver masses. Although some of these incidentally discovered masses are malignant, most are benign and must be included in the differential diagnosis. In this article we review FNH and HA. Its etiology, biological behavior, diagnosis, and treatment will be highlighted.

PD-L1/PD-1 checkpoint inhibitors (CPIs) are mainstream agents for cancer immunotherapy, but the prognosis is unsatisfactory in solid tumor patients lacking preexisting T-cell reactivity. Adjunct therapy strategies including the intratumoral administration of immunostimulants aim to address this limitation. CpG oligodeoxynucleotides (ODNs), TLR9 agonists that can potentiate adaptive immunity, have been widely investigated to tackle PD-L1/PD-1 resistance, but clinical success has been hindered by inconsistent efficacy and immune-related toxicities caused by systemic exposure.

Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC) is one rare type of thyroid carcinoma without standard systemic treatment for advanced disease. Recent evidence has demonstrated promising efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors, particularly those targeting programmed death-1 (PD-1)/programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1), in a variety of solid tumors. However, there have been no research of immune checkpoint inhibitors plus chemotherapy in ATC.

Millions of patients and their caretakers live and deal with the devastating consequences of spinal cord injury (SCI) worldwide. Despite outstanding advances in the field to both understand and tackle these pathologies, a cure for SCI patients, with their peculiar characteristics, is still a mirage. One of the most promising therapeutic strategies to date for these patients involves the use of epidural electrical stimulation.

LCTs may demonstrate various clinical manifestations - from asymptomatic intratesticular swelling through nonspecific symptoms such as loss of libido, impotence or infertility, up to feminizing or virilizing syndromes due to hormonal activity of the tumor. This article presents a case of Leydig cell tumor that was associated with azoospermia what have rarely been reported worldwide.

Objective: To investigate the predictive value of tumor iodine concentration obtained with dual-energy CT (DECT) for treatment response in patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI).
Materials And Methods: Retrospective single-center study of consecutive metastatic melanoma and renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients undergoing first-line ICI treatment. The iodine concentration measurement time points include prior to initiation of therapy (baseline [BL]), after initiation (follow-up [FU1]), and either time point nearest to 12 months or at time of progression (final follow-up [FFU]).
