[Evaluation criteria of medical and ecological situation based on the method of sigma deviations].

Comparative analysis of the existing criteria for assessment of health and environmental situation was produced. The approach to health assessment of the environmental situation, where sigma intervals are used as criteria of belonging population morbidity in certain administrative areas in the region to the background incidence rate was proposed. The suggested criteria will increase the objectivity of the assessment of environmental health situation in the environment and health monitoring and implementation of epidemiological research.
