Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) is a cyanotic congenital heart defect typically diagnosed in infancy and treated with early surgical correction. We report a patient with TOF diagnosed at age 78. Successful surgical repair was performed at age 83, the oldest reported age of surgical correction of this condition. Despite a complicated surgical and postoperative course, the patient is doing well almost four years later.

Objective: Aim: To improve the results of treatment of patients with chronic wounds of the lower extremities by using complex treatment, including surgical interventions, VAC- therapy, as well as studying the effect of negative pressure on bacterial films of wounds, based on microbiological examination and immune-histochemical data.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: During the period from 2019 to 2023 at the department's clinic, 68 patients with chronic wounds of the lower extremities were examined and treated. These are mainly women (n=63) aged from 35 to 80 years.

Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) protects the ovarian reserve from chemotherapy, and this effect is most pronounced with Doxorubicin (DOX). However, DOX toxicity and AMH rescue mechanisms in the ovary have remained unclear. Herein, we characterize the consequences of these treatments in ovarian cell types using scRNAseq.

Because of the crucial role of the menisci in maintaining cartilage and joint health, meniscal tears affect the long-term health of the knee. Although partial meniscectomy has a role in the treatment of complex degenerative tears and tears with low healing capacity, advances in the concepts and understanding of meniscal repair, along with improvements in repair techniques and instrumentation, have expanded the indications for meniscal repair. With appropriate patient selection and preoperative planning, repair of meniscal tears can lower the rate of degenerative changes when compared with meniscectomy.

Non-cryo and hypothermic preservations are two available options for short-term storage of living cells. For long-term cell storage, cryopreservation is an essential procedure as it prolongs the storage time, allowing for the transport and testing of cells, as well as the establishment of cell banks. But it is unclear whether cryopreservation reduces the therapeutic effects of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hucMSCs) on osteoarthritis (OA).
