Frequency-resolved scanning photoresponse microscopy of pentacene thin-film transistors is reported. The photoresponse pattern maps the in-plane distribution of trap states which is superimposed by the level of trap filling adjusted by the gate voltage of the transistor. Local hotspots in the photoresponse map thus indicate areas of high trap densities within the pentacene thin film.

is of great public health concern because of its vectorial capacity to transmit various arboviruses such as Zika, yellow fever, dengue, and chikungunya. In California, its expanding geographic distribution has been unrestrained. This urgently calls for innovative tools such as the use of sterile insect technique (SIT) to strengthen invasive control.

The praseodymium-doped indium zinc oxide (PrIZO) thin-film transistor (TFT) is promising for applications in flat-panel displays, due to its high carrier mobility and stability. Nevertheless, there are few studies on the mechanism of annealing on PrIZO films and the fabrication of flexible devices. In this work, we first optimized the annealing-process parameters on the glass substrate.

This study investigates the process of planning for future inpatient resources (beds, staff and costs) for maternity (pregnancy and childbirth) services. The process of planning is approached from a patient-centered philosophy; hence, how do we discharge a suitably rested healthy mother who is fully capable of caring for the newborn baby back into the community? This demonstrates some of the difficulties in predicting future births and investigates trends in the average length of stay. While it is relatively easy to document longer-term (past) trends in births and the conditions relating to pregnancy and birth, it is exceedingly difficult to predict the future nature of such trends.

Indium nitride (InN) exhibited significant potential as a photoelectrode material for photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting, attributed to its superior light absorption, high electron mobility, and direct bandgap. However, its practical application was constrained by rapid carrier recombination occurring within the bulk and at the surface. To address these limitations, researchers developed InN/UiO-66 heterojunction photoelectrodes, which markedly enhanced PEC water splitting for hydrogen production.

The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of perovskite solar cells is sensitive to their method of fabrication as well as the combination of materials in the perovskite layer. Air knife-assisted blade coating enables good quality perovskite films to be formed but the device efficiencies still tend to lag behind those fabricated using spin-coated perovskite layers. Herein we report the use of three 2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorophenylethylammonium halides (FEAX, where X = I, Br or Cl) as additives in nitrogen knife-assisted blade-coated methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI) perovskite solar cells.
