Background: T thermometry is considered a straight method for the safety monitoring of patients with deep brain stimulation (DBS) electrodes against radiofrequency-induced heating during Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), requiring different sequences and methods.
Objective: This study aimed to compare two T thermometry methods and two low specific absorption rate (SAR) imaging sequences in terms of the output image quality.
Material And Methods: In this experimental study, a gel phantom was prepared, resembling the brain tissue properties with a copper wire inside.

Hibernation is accompanied by dramatic decrease of blood flow in many organs due to the increase of their vascular resistances. We compared the responses of mesenteric, renal, and cerebral proximal resistance arteries in summer active (SA) and winter hibernating (WH) ground squirrels and studied the signaling pathways of Rho-kinase and NO. Wire myography and Western blotting were used to assess the arterial responses and protein abundances.

Much brain imaging work has underscored the functional connections among the inferior frontal gyrus (IFG; articulation), supramarginal gyrus (SMG; letter-sound correspondence), superior temporal gyrus (STG; sound) and fusiform gyrus (FFG; print) during basic reading processes. This reading network supports and coordinates the complex processes that contribute to successful reading. In line with the Hebbian notion that 'neurons that fire together, wire together' we examined cortical thickness among these regions and the extent to which these regions showed structural relationships in average and impaired readers.

Background: More studies explored the prevalence, causes, associated conditions, and therapeutic strategies of narcolepsy. With an increasing focus on understanding narcolepsy's prevalence, associated conditions, and therapeutic strategies, there's a notable absence of bibliometric analyses summarizing trends in research and identifying emerging areas of focus within this field.
Aim: To conduct a bibliometric analysis to investigate the current status and frontiers of narcolepsy.
