Background: Early detection of pulmonary congestion among ambulatory patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is critical to optimize decongestive therapy prior to overt decompensation, yet traditional tools are insensitive.
Objectives: To examine the prevalence of B-lines, an ultrasound measure of pulmonary congestion, and their clinical and imaging correlates in patients with HFpEF.
Methods: In a prospective, multi-site observational study, using a pocket ultrasound device, 8-zone lung ultrasound was performed in outpatients with HFpEF, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) ≥45% and NYHA class II-IV.

Introduction: The rapid growth in popularity of e-cigarettes over the past decade has prompted concerns about their impact on long-term respiratory health. Small airway injury is suspected to be a direct consequence of e-cigarette use and may be quantifiable by novel structural and functional diagnostic modalities.
Methods And Analysis: In a multicentre observational longitudinal study, participants will be enrolled in either an adolescent (ages ≥12 and <19 years) or an adult arm (≥19 years old) and followed over 3 years across three time points (baseline, 18 months and 36 months).

Misdiagnoses in abdominal radiology are a frequent source of clinical errors, often stemming from cognitive biases and perception errors. Typical sources of error include perceptual and interpretative issues, frequently influenced by cognitive mechanisms, such as anchoring and confirmation biases or the satisfaction of search bias. Technical errors, such as suboptimal windowing in computed tomography, also contribute to diagnostic inaccuracies.

Gout is an autoinflammatory disease triggered by chronic hyperuricemia and causes extremely painful joint inflammation. If left untreated gout can lead to irreversible joint damage and significantly impair the quality of life of affected patients. In addition to classical diagnostic methods, such as serum uric acid measurement and joint aspiration, imaging techniques, such as ultrasound and dual-energy computed tomography (CT) are becoming increasingly more important.

Background: In about half of migraine patients, anti-calcitonin gene-related peptide monoclonal antibodies reduce monthly migraine days by >50%. In these patients, this class of drugs may change cortical functions by decreasing nociceptive afferent barrage. This prospective study investigated functional connectivity changes in treatment responders after three-month treatment with galcanezumab.
