We are describing the successful treatment of two cases of late Class II antibody mediated rejection status postkidney transplantation. The first patient was treated with a combination of plasmapheresis, intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), and stenting of the transplanted renal artery. The second was treated with IVIG and pulse steroids.

Intermolecular oxidative N-N bond formation reactions are quite challenging and are largely uncharted. N-N linked dimeric indolosesquiterpene alkaloids represent an underexplored class of natural products, and strategies for direct dehydrogenative N-N bond formation are limited. Here, we have reported that a late-stage visible-light photoredox catalysis facilitates N-N bond formation, leading to the total syntheses of atropo-diastereomers dixiamycins A () and B ().

Aims: This retrospective cohort study aimed to investigate the efficacy of dual-chamber left Bundle branch pacing (LBBP) as an alternative therapy for heart failure patients with complete left bundle branch block (CLBBB) and indications for defibrillator with cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT-D).
Methods: 34 patients met inclusion criteria were enrolled in the study. These criteria included a left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of lower than 35%, a New York Heart Association functional class of II-IV, CLBBB meeting Strauss's criteria, intraventricular dyssynchrony, and confirmed correction of CLBBB during LBBP.

The hippocampus has a known role in learning and memory, with the ventral subregion supporting many learning tasks involving affective responding, including fear conditioning. Altered neuronal intrinsic excitability reflects experience-dependent plasticity that supports learning-related behavioral changes. Such changes have previously been observed in the dorsal hippocampus following fear conditioning, but little work has examined the effect of fear conditioning on ventral hippocampal intrinsic plasticity.

Introduction: Ecological momentary assessment (EMA) is popular in smoking research to study time-varying processes and design just-in-time personalised cessation interventions. Yet, research examining the psychometric properties of EMA and user experiences with EMA protocols is lacking. We conducted a mixed-methods study to test the EMA component of a mobile intervention for middle to late-aged adolescents (16-20 years) who smoke cigarettes at least weekly.

Although human metapneumovirus(hMPV) infection can induce severe symptoms in older adults or immunocompromised patients, it usually causes mild symptoms in young immunocompetent adults. The prevalence of hMPV infectious disease is highest during the late winter and early summer. We report a hypoxemic case of hMPV infection in a young immunocompetent man that occurred in the first autumn after the reclassification of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) from Class 2 to Class 5.
