Massive localized lymphedema (MLL) is a rising and potentially fatal complication of the obesity epidemic. Described as a benign lymphoproliferative overgrowth of obese patients, MLL is a form of secondary lymphedema, caused by the obstruction of lymphatic flow, with characteristic clinical and histological presentation. Patients have a large mass with classic skin changes often accompanied by lymphatic weeping that require complex reconstruction. Although oftentimes benign, if left untreated, MLL can progress to angiosarcoma, further supporting the need for more research into MLL and its sequelae. We present a unique case of MLL of the mons pubis in a 52-year-old man with a body mass index of 75.7 kg/m. The literature was comprehensively reviewed with a total of 65 cases of MLL being described, 9 of which resulted in angiosarcoma (10.3% of all cases), 6 of which resulted in death (9.2% of all cases). We found a female predominance of 1.24 to 1, an average weight of 183 kg, and a 48.5% majority of cases in the thigh.

Background: Internal displacement and cross-country migration are an increasing global phenomenon drawing the attention of politicians and the public. Causes and effects on the migrants and receptor populations are varied and often shaped by immigration laws and how migrants and refugees are being dealt with by local conditions, policy frameworks and by the host population (receptors). The massive influx of Venezuelan migrants into Colombia for more than a decade has characteristics which warrant a systematic analysis to identify contextual and individual factors favouring and hindering the well-being of migrants and their new Colombian neighbours of the receptor population.

Background: Pseudogynecomastia in MWL patients is characterized by excess skin in chest, lateral chest, axilla and upper abdomen without enlargement of the breast glandular component. The aim of this work was to study long-term aesthetic outcomes of correction of severe pseudogynecomastia post-weight loss with inferior pedicle technique with some refinements.
Methodology: This prospective study included 15 patients underwent chest contouring after massive weight loss within period of 2 years between January 2022 and January 2024.

The linear scaling divide-expand-consolidate (DEC) framework is expanded to include unrestricted Hartree-Fock references. By partitioning the orbital space and employing local molecular orbitals, the full molecular calculation can be performed as independent calculations on individual fragments, making the method well-suited for massively parallel implementations. This approach also incorporates error control through the fragment optimization threshold (FOT), which maintains precision and consistency throughout the calculations.

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a World Health Organisation (WHO) grade IV glioma originating from astrocytes. It is the most common malignant primary tumour of the brain and central nervous system (CNS) and is associated with fast progression and violent local spread, with a median overall survival of approximately 15 months after diagnosis. Due to its late and varied presentation, it is often diagnosed only after it has grown considerably.

Our motivation in this paper is twofold. First, we study the geometry of a class of exploration sets, called , which are naturally associated with a 2D vector-valued Gaussian Free Field : . We prove that, somewhat surprisingly, these sets are a.
