Results of soil microbiological monitoring of virgin forests and transformed ecosystems are analyzed and generalized. It is shown, that the number of main ecological-trophic groups of soil microorganisms varies with the height of forest massive and level of anthropogenic load. The level of biological activity of all studied transformed ecosystems was the lowest in the soil of territories directly adjacent to the railroad and highway. The maximum value of soil biological activity was fixed in virgin forest ecosystems. The level of phytotoxical activity of soil in the transformed ecosystems was three times higher, than in the virgin forests. Phytotoxicity of soil is the informative indicator: it can be used for soil monitoring studies to evaluate anthropogenic impact on ecosystems.

Phosphorus (P) availability in soils is often constrained by its accumulation in non-labile phosphorus (NLP) forms, limiting its accessibility to plants. This study examines how soil physical properties, chemical characteristics, and climatic conditions influence phosphorus fractionation and the transformation of NLP into plant-available labile phosphorus (LP). Utilizing global structural equation modeling (SEM), we found that silt content enhances organic phosphorus fractions, including NaHCO-Po and NaOH-Po.

This study presents the fabrication of a sustainable flexible humidity sensor utilizing chitosan derived from mealworm biomass as the primary sensing material. The chitosan-based humidity sensor was fabricated by casting chitosan and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films with interdigitated copper electrodes, forming a laminate composite suitable for real-time, resistive-type humidity detection. Comprehensive characterization of the chitosan film was performed using Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, contact angle measurements, and tensile testing, which confirmed its chemical structure, wettability, and mechanical stability.
