Thermo Scientific Gallery Automatic Discrete Analyzer is special for water analyzing, and can automatically run steps includeing sample and reagents dispensing, water blank, mixing and incubation, Colorimetric reading and data processing. This method refers to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The instrument has advantage in low sample and reagents consumption, sensitivity and repeatability; test process can be automatic, standardized and informationized, and is applicable to multitudinous sample testing in water qualities and environmental monitoring.

Regulation and Liquid Sensing of Electromagnetically Induced Transparency-like Phenomena Implemented in a SNAP Microresonator.

Optical microresonators supporting whispering-gallery modes (WGMs) have become a versatile platform for achieving electromagnetically induced transparency-like (EIT-like) phenomena. We theoretically and experimentally demonstrated the tunable coupled-mode induced transparency based on the surface nanoscale axial photonics (SNAP) microresonator. Single-EIT-like and double-EIT-like (DEIT-like) effects with one or more transparent windows are achieved due to dense mode families and tunable resonant frequencies.

Automatic Alignment Method for Controlled Free-Space Excitation of Whispering-Gallery Resonances.

Sensors (Basel)

Whispering-gallery mode microresonators have gained wide popularity as experimental platforms for different applications, ranging from biosensing to nonlinear optics. Typically, the resonant modes of dielectric microresonators are stimulated via evanescent wave coupling, facilitated using tapered optical fibers or coupling prisms. However, this method poses serious shortcomings due to fabrication and access-related limitations, which could be elegantly overcome by implementing a free-space coupling approach; although additional alignment procedures are needed in this case.

The occluded person re-identification (ReID) aims to match person images captured in severely occluded environments. Current occluded ReID works mostly rely on auxiliary models or employ a part-to-part matching strategy. However, these methods may be sub-optimal since the auxiliary models are constrained by occlusion scenes and the matching strategy will deteriorate when both query and gallery set contain occlusion.

Multiple-view (MV) visualizations have become ubiquitous for visual communication and exploratory data visualization. However, most existing MV visualizations are designed for the desktop, which can be unsuitable for the continuously evolving displays of varying screen sizes. In this article, we present a two-stage adaptation framework that supports the automated retargeting and semi-automated tailoring of a desktop MV visualization for rendering on devices with displays of varying sizes.
