Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia (FFA) is a primary lymphocytic cicatricial alopecia predominantly affecting postmenopausal Caucasian women. It is characterized by a progressive frontotemporal hairline recession that presents as a scarring hairless band and is often accompanied by eyebrow and body hair loss. Although initially described in postmenopausal women, FFA has been observed in a broader demographic, including premenopausal women and occasionally men.

Background: Central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA) is a primary lymphocytic scarring alopecia which occurs predominantly in Black middle-aged women.1,2 The benefits and prevalence of shared decision-making (SDM) models for CCCA patients have yet to be studied. Our study investigates the role of SDM in the management of CCCA.

Purpose: To develop a novel grading scale for assessing conjunctival inflammation in cicatrizing conjunctivitis associated with Pemphigoid.
Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of digital slit-lamp images for patients with cicatricial pemphigoid in which best-quality conjunctival images for each eyelid at each photographic session was selected and anonymized. These images were subsequently prospectively assessed for inflammation severity on a scale of 0-4+ by a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in pemphigoid.

Objective: To analyze the role of endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) in predicting the risk of cicatricial stenosis after chemical esophageal burn.
Material And Methods: A retrospective study included 56 patients with chemical esophageal burn grade III/IV. Primary endoscopy was performed upon admission.
