This report primarily describes a rare case of an elderly male patient who initially presented with central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) in the left eye and was ultimately diagnosed with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) -associated vasculitis involving the eyes, gastrointestinal tract, and kidneys. However, due to irregular treatment, both eyes developed progressive ocular manifestations later. This article emphasizes the importance of actively screening for and treating underlying conditions in cases of CRAO.

Introduction: The binocular system provides a stereoscopic view from slightly different retinal images and produces perceptual alternations, namely, binocular rivalry, from significantly different retinal images. When we observe a stereogram in which the stimulus configurations induce stereopsis and rivalry simultaneously, the binocular system prefers stereopsis to rivalry. However, changes in visual perception are yet to be investigated by parametrically manipulating the components of a stereogram.

Computational defogging using machine learning presents significant potential; however, its progress is hindered by the scarcity of large-scale datasets comprising real-world paired images with sufficiently dense fog. To address this limitation, we developed a binocular imaging system and introduced Stereofog-an open-source dataset comprising 10,067 paired clear and foggy images, with a majority captured under dense fog conditions. Utilizing this dataset, we trained a pix2pix image-to-image (I2I) translation model and achieved a complex wavelet structural similarity index (CW-SSIM) exceeding 0.

Unlabelled: Silent sinus syndrome (SSS) is a rare condition characterized by spontaneous, progressive enophthalmos and hypophthalmos due to the collapse of the maxillary sinus, often accompanied by subclinical sinusitis.
Purpose: This study evaluates the clinical outcomes of treating patients with silent sinus syndrome (SSS) using a two-stage treatment approach.
Material And Methods: The study included 22 patients (22 eyes) with SSS who were examined at the Krasnov Research Institute of Eye Diseases between 2011 and 2023.
