Background: Non-adherence to medication remains a persistent and significant challenge, with profound implications for patient outcomes and the long-term sustainability of healthcare systems. Two decades ago, the World Health Organization (WHO) dedicated its seminal report to adherence to long-term therapies, catalysing notable changes that advanced both research and practice in medication adherence. The aim of this paper was to identify the most important progress made over the last 2 decades in medication adherence management and to initiate a discussion on future objectives, suggesting priority targets for the next 20 years.

This article explores the historical significance and lasting impact of Vittorio Putti's "Decalogue of Fractures" in the field of orthopedic trauma. Putti served as director of the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna from 1915 until his death in 1940 and was one of the founding members of the "Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie" (SICOT). He also played a key role in organizing the third SICOT World Congress, held in Bologna in 1936.

Purpose: Leaks after sleeve gastrectomy remain a deadly complication significantly affecting outcomes and medical costs. The aim of the present review is to provide an updated decalogue on leak prevention.
Methods: Risk factors of leakage after LSG were examined based on an extensive review of literature (in period time 2016-2024) and summary of evidence was provided using Oxford levels of evidence scale.
