Objective: Explore the barriers and enablers related to employment models to attract and sustain rural generalist (RG) doctors emerging from a state-wide RG program.
Setting: Stakeholders across five rural regions in Victoria, associated with the Victorian Rural Generalist Program (VRGP).
Participants: 36 stakeholders who responded from a list of 122 potential identified by a state-wide advisory group for the VRGP.

We report how the conjugation of coelenterazine (CTZ) to BODIPY retains its activity as a versatile substrate for luciferase-type enzymes opening the possibility of taking advantage of BODIPY's fluorescent properties and capacity to generate singlet oxygen. Bioluminescence imaging-guided photodynamic therapy or O-triggered drug release are potential applications of these conjugates.

Objective: The rural-oriented tuition-waived medical education program in China, started in 2010, provides free medical education to students committed to serving in rural areas to address medical staff shortages. Despite its success in training and deploying graduates, retaining them post-obligation remains challenging. This study explores the mechanisms behind the turnover intentions of rural-oriented medical students in Western China, offering insights for their retention.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe elements of recruitment and retention from staff perspectives.
Methods: Secondary analysis of survey data (n = 93) was conducted utilizing data collected from nurses and PSWs from 4 LTC homes.

Bedside ultrasound is widely utilized for critically ill patients, yet there is no standardized approach for teaching lung ultrasound to medical staff, particularly respiratory therapists (RTs), in the United States. Thus, we aimed to evaluate the efficacy of a lung ultrasound training program designed for RTs. With approval from the ethics committee, we recruited RTs with over 3 months of experience at Rush University Medical Center to participate in our lung ultrasound training program.
