This case report describes the co-occurrence of an atypical presentation of gingival papillary hyperplasia and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma in a patient with HIV. The article also highlights the role of dentists in the multidisciplinary management of patients with HIV and emphasizes the need for clinicians to perform a thorough review of systems and laboratory test findings. Such information, in addition to findings on oral examination, could aid in the diagnosis of systemic diseases and prompt early referral to treating physicians.

Objectives: Electronic health records (EHRs) data are increasingly used for research and analysis, but there is little empirical evidence to inform how automated and manual assessments can be combined to efficiently assess data quality in large EHR repositories.

Materials And Methods: The GEMINI database collected data from 462 226 patient admissions across 32 hospitals from 2021 to 2023. We report data quality issues identified through semi-automated and manual data quality assessments completed during the data collection phase.

Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) represents an "umbrella" diagnosis due to its clinical and immunological heterogeneity. The primary objective of this study was to describe a cohort of CVID pediatric subjects from clinical, immunological, and genetic viewpoints. Secondary, we propose a model for prioritizing genetic investigations in these patients.
