Pediatric mandibular fractures are often the sequelae of facial skeletal injuries in patients with trauma and frequently require hospitalization. Due to the retrusive mid-face position relative to the calvarial prominence, facial fractures are rare in children younger than 5 years of age. Although rare, they most often occur as a result of motor vehicle accidents. The purpose of this report is to describe the management of a mandibular symphysis fracture in a 3-year-old boy with displacement between the primary mandibular left central and lateral incisors. The fracture was reduced and the fractured segment was stabilized under general anesthesia with a prefabricated acrylic splint with circum-mandibular wiring. Children have greater osteogenic potential and faster healing rates than adults; therefore, anatomic reduction in children is best accomplished earlier.

Background: This study describes the efficacy of applying the prying lever technique to distal radial metaphyseal symphysis diaphysis joining region (DMP) fractures in children, and reports that the technique has an ameliorative effect on the phenomenon of delayed healing and non-union that occurs after surgery for fractures in the DMP region.
Methods: The medical records of 72 children with fractures in the DMP region, treated between December 2017 and December 2023, were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were randomly assigned to either the cut-and-displace group ( = 36) or the pry-and-lever group ( = 36).

Purpose: To explore the percutaneous minimally invasive treatment of pubic symphysis and its adjacent fractures.
Method: Since May 2021, 13 cases of fractures involving the pubic symphysis and its adjacent parts were treated with x-ray fluoroscopic localization and percutaneous cannulated screw fixation across the symphysis pubis, the guide pin pierced the symphysis pubis and the fracture end and stopped at the inner edge of the acetabulum.
