Objective: Removal of a transcutaneous osseintegrated endo-fix stem (ESKA Orthopaedic, Lübeck, Germany) following a fatigue fracture of the implant, whilst protecting the residual femur bone to allow transcutaneous osseointegrated prosthesis system (TOPS) reimplantation.
Indications: A patient's request for a further TOPS implantation following a fatigue fracture of a circular osseointegrated implant stem.
Contraindications: Impending destruction of the bone tube through mobilisation of the femoral implant stem with insufficient thickness of the cortical wall (< 2-3 mm).

Academic procrastination is one of the major factors that can be a serious obstacle for students to achieve academic progress and success. This research aimed to investigate and predict academic procrastination based on academic self-efficacy and emotional regulation difficulties of students of one of the medical sciences universities in southern Iran in 2024. This descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study was conducted on 290 students of different fields in the south of Iran between January and April 2024.

Successful fracture repair and healing requires preservation of the blood supply to the long bones which is conveyed through the nutrient foramina (NF).
