Introduction: Cadonilimab (AK104) is an innovative human programmed cell death-1 (PD-1)/cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA-4) bispecific antibody. Compared with the combination therapy of PD-1 and CTLA-4 blockers, less cellular toxicity of cadonilimab was significantly manifested. As one of the characteristic adverse effects of cadonilimab, infusion-related reactions (IRRs) represent fever, chills, rash, decreased blood pressure, and other symptoms.

Transporter-mediated drug-drug interactions (DDIs) are of concern in antimicrobial drug development, as they can have serious safety consequences. We used positron emission tomography (PET) imaging-based pharmacokinetic (PK) analysis to assess the effect of different drugs, which may cause transporter-mediated DDIs, on the tissue distribution and excretion of [F]ciprofloxacin as a radiolabeled model antimicrobial drug. Mice underwent PET scans after intravenous injection of [F]ciprofloxacin, without and with pretreatment with either probenecid (150 mg/kg), cimetidine (50 mg/kg), or pyrimethamine (5 mg/kg).

Background: The mechanisms of emergence from general anesthesia remain to be elucidated. Recent studies indicate that the central histaminergic system plays a critical role in maintaining wakefulness. In addition, the neural pathways that regulate the wake-sleep cycle are involved in general anesthesia.

Background: Rumex nepalensis(RN) Spreng has been used to treat ulcer disease in Ethiopian folk medicine. This study aimed to determine the anti-ulcer activity of hydroalcoholic root crude extract and solvent fractions of in rats.
Methods: The effect of crude hydromethanolic extract and solvent fractions at doses (100, 200, 400 mg/kg/day) and repeated dosing (200 mg/kg/day for 10 and 20 days) was examined on ulcers in rats in pyloric ligation-, cold restraint stress-, and acetic acid-induced ulcer models.
