We investigate the polarimetric properties of an adjustable two plate quarter-wave system. We take into account multiple beam interference within single wave plates. Different adjustments of an adjustable two plate quarter-wave system are required for the production of the left-handed and the right-handed circular polarized coherent light. We investigate experimentally laser light polarization conversion by the systems consisting of two birefringent mica plates. An adjustable two plate quarter-wave system produces high-quality circularly polarized coherent light with the intensity-related ellipticity better than 0.99 at any wavelength.

In this article, resonance phenomena of high-speed interconnects and power delivery networks in glass packages are measured and analyzed. The resonances are generated in the interconnection by the physical dimension, cancelation of reactance components, and modes. When the resonances are generated in the operation frequency band, the signal/power integrity of the interconnect can be affected.

Circular differential scattering (CDS) spectroscopy has been developed as a powerful method for the characterization of the optical activity of individual plasmonic nanostructures and their complexes with chiral molecules. However, standard measurement setups often result in artifacts that have long raised concerns on the interpretation of spectral data. In fact, the detection limit of CDS setups is constrained by the high level of artifacts, to ±10%.

Polarization multispectral imaging has advanced significantly due to its robust information representation capability. Imaging application requires rigorous simulation evaluation and experimental validation using standardized datasets. However, the current full-Stokes polarization multispectral images (FSPMI) dataset, while providing simulation data, is limited by image drift and spectral bands.

Many approaches have been developed to generate such beams, but high-power output is not supported. Here, we report the coherent beam combining (CBC) for generating VVBs that are compatible with high-power fiber amplifiers.
