Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of combined 25-gauge microincision vitrectomy surgery (MIVS) and toric intraocular lens (IOL) implantation with posterior capsulotomy.
Methods: Noncomparative, interventional case series performed at a single center. Twelve patients with vitreoretinal disease and cataracts, with preexisting regular corneal astigmatism greater than 1 diopter, underwent 25-gauge MIVS and toric IOL implantation with posterior capsulotomy.
Results: The toric IOL was successfully implanted in each case. At 6 months postoperatively, mean axis rotation was 5.7° ± 3.1°. At 1 month postoperatively, mean uncorrected and best corrected visual acuity improved; the improvement was maintained after 6 months. The absolute residual refractive cylinder was significantly lower postoperatively than the pre-existing regular corneal cylinder (P = .003). There were no surgical complications except temporary posterior iris synechiae in one case.
Conclusions: Combined 25-gauge MIVS and toric IOL implantation with posterior capsulotomy is a practical and safe method to treat vitreoretinal disease and cataracts with pre-existing corneal astigmatism.

Design: A triple-armed, double-blind randomized controlled trial with cross-over design investigated patient-reported satisfaction and objective dental evaluation of a 3-unit, monolithic zirconium dioxide (ZrO2), implant-supported fixed dental prosthesis (iFDP) fabricated with 2 completely digital workflows and 1 mixed analog-digital workflow.
Case Selection: Participants enrolled required rehabilitation of 2 dental implants in posterior region of either of the arches with a 3-unit, ZrO2 iFDP. A total of 20 participants received the 3 types of ZrO2, iFDP fabricated by 3 different methods.

Introduction: Novel methods for annotating antero-posterior (AP) pelvis radiographs and fluoroscopic images with deep-learning models have recently been developed. However, their clinical use has been limited. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop a deep learning model that could annotate clinically relevant pelvic landmarks on both radiographic and fluoroscopic images and automate total hip arthroplasty (THA)-relevant measurements.

Introduction And Importance: Restoring lost teeth in the posterior atrophic maxilla presents a significant challenge due to insufficient bone volume for implant placement. Simultaneous implant placement during lateral sinus lift is often considered, but the decision is typically based on the amount of existing bone. The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility of simultaneous implant placement and maxillary sinus floor augmentation in the atrophic posterior maxilla using autogenous bone ring.

Background Odontogenic maxillary sinusitis arises mainly from dental origins, emphasizing the connection between dental health and sinus issues. Understanding these relationships is crucial for implant planning, sinus augmentation procedures, and managing post-extraction complications. This knowledge can help clinicians make informed decisions about treatment timing and approach.
