Objectives: The number of older adults with schizophrenia ("late-life schizophrenia" (LLS)) is growing with the aging of the general population. Cognitive impairment in adults with LLS predicts functioning. Cognitive remediation (CR) improves cognition in schizophrenia, however literature in LLS is sparse.

Objective: To examine the effects of diaphragm breathing relaxation training and cognitive-behavioral therapy on sleep quality in the elderly.
Methods: In this three-arm randomized clinical trial, 99 older patients with a primary diagnosis of insomnia were randomly divided into two intervention groups (n = 33) and a control group (n = 33). The study design was a parallel group trial with an allocation ratio of 1:1.

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the extent to which mindfulness, self-compassion, and body image distress are associated with peaceful acceptance or struggle with illness in terminally ill cancer patients, after controlling for psychological distress, sociodemographic characteristics (age, gender, education, marital status), and clinical characteristics (body mass index, Karnofsky Performance Status, time since diagnosis).
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 135 terminally ill cancer patients. Participants were consecutively sampled.
