The title compound, [Al2K2(C2H6N)8(C4H8O)] n , formed during the sonochemical reaction between Al(NMe2)3 and sodium-potassium alloy in the presence of tetra-hydro-furan (THF). Its asymmetric unit has two inequivalent K(+) sites. One site is coordinated by a THF ligand, and crystallizes as a one-dimensional polymer with a backbone of catenated AlN2K rings. A twofold rotation axis bis-ects one K(+) site and the THF ligand; the second K(+) site is situated on an inversion centre, resulting in a planar four-coordination by N atoms. The latter symmetry operation generates the second half of the THF mol-ecule and fills out the coordination sphere of the potassium sites. The chains extend along the c-axis direction and zigzag at the THF-coordinated K(+) sites by an angle of 106.02 (5)°.

From synthesis to application, there are always certain interactions between the polar solvents and perovskite nanocrystals (NCs). To explain the effect of solvent polarity especially on the photoluminescence (PL) properties of NCs is highly desirable, especially for sensing applications. Herein We have synthesized the methylammonium lead mixed halides (MAPbClBr, where n = 0, 0.

The reaction between 1,3-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazolylmethyl)hexahydropyrimidine L and Mo(CO) in CHCN at 130 °C afforded a binuclear Mo(0) complex 1 containing a new macrocycle formed upon C-N bond cleavage in L in good yield. Conversely, a clean reaction takes place between L and [Mo(CO)(COD)] in THF at 60 °C to give a new metalloligand complex [Mo(CO)(κ-,-L)] 2 containing a spectator pyrazole arm in 83% yield. Their structures were determined by X-ray diffraction methods, and a plausible mechanism is proposed for the C-N bond cleavage leading to complex 1.

The systematic nucleophilic functionalization of the cationic pentaphosphole ligand complex [Cp*Fe(η4-P5Me)][OTf] (A) with group 16/17 nucleophiles is reported. This method represents a highly reliable and versatile strategy for the design of novel transition-metal complexes featuring twofold substituted end-deck cyclo-P5 ligands, bearing unprecedented hetero-element substituents. By the reaction of A with classical group 16 nucleophiles, complexes of the type [Cp*Fe(η4-P5MeE)] (E = OEt (1), OtBu (2), SPh (3), SePh (4)) are obtained.

Design and synthesis of high-performance single-molecule magnets (SMMs) have long been a research focus. Inspired by the best dysprosium(III) metallocene SMMs and dysprosium(III) bis(methanediide) SMMs, we assumed dysprosium SMMs, which had electrical neutrality by combining the two types of ligands. As the Dy center is coordinated by one (substituted-)cyclopentadienyl (Cp) ligand and one methanediide ({C(PPhNSiMe)}) ligand on the axial sites, this ideal structure with linear C-Dy-Cp would strengthen the magnetic anisotropy and exhibit excellent SMM properties.

The five-coordinate complex [RuCl(PNP)] () was synthesized from the binuclear [RuCl(-cym)] with a PNP-type ligand (PNP = 3,6-di--butyl-1,8-bis(dipropylphosphino)methyl)-9-carbazole - (Cbzdiphos )H) in a toluene solution, within 20 h at 110 °C, producing a green solid, which was precipitated with a 1/1 mixture of - pentane/HMDSO. The complex was characterized by NMR-H, C, and P{H}, mass spectroscopy-LIFDI, FTIR, UV/vis spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry, as well as a description of the optimized structure by DFT calculation. The reactivity of was investigated in the presence of potassium triethylborohydride (KBEtH, in THF solution of 1.
