In the presence of a catalytic amount of L-proline (10 mol %), transamidations of carboxamides with amines were achieved under solvent-free conditions. The transamidation process is compatible with a wide range of amines.

The palladium-catalyzed aminocarbonylation is one of the most effective methods for the synthesis of carboxamides having great importance. Replacing fossil-based organic solvents in this routinely used catalytic protocol with biomass-derived media is crucial for developing environmentally safe alternatives and towards sustainability considerations. In this study, the open-chain derivatives of bio-originated substance g-valerolactone i.

Objective: To investigate whether cardiac mast cells (MCs) participate in pressure overload-induced myocardial hypertrophy through the regulation of transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4).

Methods: Pressure overload-induced myocardial hypertrophy was induced via abdominal aortic constriction (AAC). Myocardial hypertrophy was evaluated by measuring the heart weight index (HW/BW), lung weight index (LW/BW), ratio of heart weight to tibia length (HW/TL), ratio of lung weight to tibia length (LW/TL), and cross-sectional area of myocardial cells.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to compare the 3-year continuation rate and discontinuation factors between vibegron and mirabegron in patients with overactive bladder in a rehabilitation hospital in Japan.

Methods: The 3-year continuation rate of the target drugs and reasons for discontinuation as well as patients' backgrounds and adverse effects were evaluated retrospectively from the medical records between September 2018 and December 2020. After selecting patients according to our inclusion and exclusion criteria, 136 cases taking mirabegron and 82 taking vibegron were adjusted for intergroup variability by propensity score matching.

Imidazo[1,2-]pyridines and especially their amide derivatives exhibit a wide range of favourable pharmacological properties. In this work, Pd-catalysed carbonylation was used for the first time for the introduction of the carboxamide moiety into positions 6 or 8. A recyclable Pd catalyst, with palladium immobilised on a supported ionic liquid phase decorated with pyridinium ions, was used efficiently for the conversion of 6- or 8-iodo derivatives to the products.
