The glenoid labrum is a redundant fold of the joint capsule made of fibrous and fibrocartilagenous tissue that attaches to the rim of the glenoid of the scapula. The location and severity of tears of the labrum generally dictate clinical management, which may range from medical management to arthroscopic debridement and labral repair. In the more severe cases, a shoulder stabilization procedure may be needed. This article discusses the anatomy, various lesions and cysts, and magnetic resonance imaging of the glenoid labrum.

Introduction: Exercise-based physiotherapy is an established treatment of rotator cuff injury. Objective assessment of at-home exercise is critical to understand its relationship with clinical outcomes. This study uses the Smart Physiotherapy Activity Recognition System to measure at-home physiotherapy participation in patients with rotator cuff injury based on inertial sensor data captured from smart watches.

This study aims to analyze the impact of muscle transfer on the glenohumeral joint in children with obstetric brachial plexus palsy (OBPP) using MRI by comparing preoperative and 5-year follow-up postoperative imaging findings to determine whether tendon transfers affect the alignment and configuration of the glenohumeral joint. Ten children with obstetric brachial plexus palsy (OBPP) participated in our prospective observational study, and we performed a tendon transfer technique. Every patient had an MRI of both shoulders done at preoperative and at the 5-year mark following the procedure.

Background: Anterior shoulder instability with glenoid bone loss presents a challenge in orthopedic surgery. The Latarjet and iliac crest bone graft transfer (ICBGT) procedures are commonly employed for its management, but direct comparative evidence is insufficient.
Methods: Following PRISMA guidelines, a comprehensive search of PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science was conducted.
