Aims And Objectives: The study aimed to compare the auditory perception status of children from different socioeconomic backgrounds, specifically urban versus rural. It also examined the correlation between outcome measures and the frequency of auditory verbal therapy sessions attended, as well as the impact of continuous electric analog stimulation on the age of implantation.
Material And Methods: A retrospective cohort study was carried out on 30 children who have received unilateral cochlear implantation in rural versus urban backgrounds.

Primary Sjögren's syndrome (SS) is a systemic autoimmune disorder primarily affecting exocrine glands, that may occasionally present with severe extra-glandular manifestations. Although rarely, severe hypokalemia and respiratory muscle paralysis may be initial presentations. We report the case of a 33-year-old woman with a recent history of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) infection who presented with headache and generalized muscle weakness.

Introduction Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) is an autosomal recessive disorder primarily caused by 21-hydroxylase enzyme deficiency, impairing cortisol synthesis and resulting in elevated androgen levels. CAH presents in two classical forms: salt-wasting (SW) and simple virilizing (SV). Although CAH is rare in India, regional variations and the absence of a national newborn screening (NBS) program pose significant challenges to accurate diagnosis.

To prevent organ rejection, renal transplant (RT) recipients must take immunosuppressive medicines, which make them more susceptible to infections such as tuberculosis (TB). Hepatotoxicity, which can vary from asymptomatic increased liver enzymes to severe liver failure, is the most prevalent side effect of first-line antituberculosis (AT) drugs. Treating TB in RT patients involves unique concerns since AT medications might interact with immunosuppressive medications, potentially reducing efficacy or increasing toxicity.
