We report 4 patients with upper urinary tract (UUT) obstruction requiring ureteric reimplantation at 1, 7, 28, and 63 months after dextranomer/hyaluronic acid copolymer (Dx/HA) injection for vesicoureteric reflux. Histopathologic evaluation of ureteric segments revealed extensive foreign body formation in all cases. We conclude that UUT obstruction is a rare but serious complication after Dx/HA injection that can occur even years after surgery. The incidence of delayed-onset UUT obstruction may be higher than previously noted. Long-term follow-up and a critical reappraisal of the method are needed to assess the late sequelae of Dx/HA injection therapy for vesicoureteric reflux.

Objective: Sparse data exist on the impact of upper urinary tract (UUT) decompression on the risk of UUT recurrence in patients with bladder cancer (BCa). This study aims to evaluate whether Double J stenting (DJS) can increase the risk of UUT recurrence compared to percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN) placement.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed data from 1550 patients with cTa-T3NanyM0 BCa who underwent radical cystectomy (RC) between at 12 tertiary care centers (1990-2020).

Objective: We aimed to assess the impact of the timing of urinary drainage on clinical outcomes in patients with obstructive pyelonephritis (OPN) associated with upper urinary tract (UUT) stones.
Methods: We retrospectively evaluated the multicenter dataset of 240 patients with OPN associated with UUT stones who underwent urinary drainage. We divided the patients into two groups depending on the timing of urinary drainage; emergency drainage, defined as within 12 h from admission, and delayed drainage, defined as between 12 and 48 h from admission.

Objectives: We enumerate the various laparoscopic strategies to resolve upper urinary tract (UUT) obstruction in the context of variations in anatomy and report their outcomes.
Patients And Methods: Retrospective review of primary laparoscopic UUT reconstructions performed between May 2012 and May 2021. Anomalies included: malrotated kidney (MRK), horseshoe kidney (HSK), duplex kidney (DK), pure intrarenal pelvis (IRP) and mid-ureteric stenosis (MUS).

Introduction: In nonneurogenic female bladder outlet obstruction (BOO), management goals include reduction of outlet resistance to increase urinary outflow and improve bladder voiding to prevent or reduce lower and upper urinary tract (LUT and UUT) function deterioration, by correcting the underlying etiology. As significant progress has been achieved in the conservative and pharmacological management of nonneurogenic female BOO, the purpose of this article is to review and summarize the current literature.
Materials And Methods: For this narrative review, a PubMed® search was performed by cross-referencing the keywords "female bladder outlet obstruction," "female voiding dysfunction," "conservative management," "pharmacological management," and "treatment" with various terms related to the management of female BOO.

A 78-year-old woman presented with tachypnea, abdominal distension, bilateral lower limb edema, and hematuria. A contrast-enhanced CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis was performed, which revealed a significant left-sided hydronephrosis upstream of an upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma (UUT-UC). The patient underwent a left open nephroureterectomy, and approximately 10 L of fluid were evacuated.
