Many clinicians working in inner-city community mental health centers find themselves overwhelmed by the complexity of the treatment cases presented. This paper illustrates the application of a multisystems model of family therapy that allows the clinician to organize and implement a treatment plan at the nuclear family, extended family, and systems levels.

Background: Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in neonates (MIS-N) is a rare condition thought to be associated with prenatal exposure to maternal severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection. This study explores the association between MASLD-related liver fibrosis and cardiac dysfunction, focusing on how liver fibrosis contributes to cardiac remodeling and dysfunction. Cernea 's research highlights the strong correlation between liver fibrosis and changes in left ventricular mass, left atrial dimensions, and systolic and diastolic function in diabetic patients.
