This perspective highlights the transformative potential of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) in environmental and healthcare sectors. It discusses work that has advanced beyond technology readiness levels of >4 including applications in capture, storage, and conversion of gases to value added products. This work showcases efforts in the most salient applications of MOFs which have been performed at a great cadence, enabled by the federal government, large companies, and startups to commercialize these technologies despite facing significant challenges.

By considering the processes of tunnel excavation and support, as well as the reduced constraint reaction force on the pipe roof in unexcavated section due to the disturbance at the tunnel face, this paper establishes a load-structure model for pipe roof based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. The Pasternak elastic foundation model is utilized to ascertain the constraint reaction force exerted by primary support and surrounding soil ahead of the tunnel face on the pipe roof.

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) represent a novel class of targeted anti-tumor medications that utilize the covalent linkage between monoclonal antibodies and cytotoxic agents. This unique mechanism combines the cytotoxic potency of drugs with the targeting specificity conferred by antigen recognition. However, it is essential to recognize that many ADCs still face challenges related to off-target toxicity akin to cytotoxic payloads, as well as targeted toxicity and other potential life-threatening adverse effects, such as treatment-induced interstitial lung injury.
