Following European exploration of the Americas in the late 15th century, new plants rapidly spread across Europe. Simultaneously, plants from Asia and Africa arrived. The paternally inherited, male-specific part of the Y chromosome (MSY) is an ideal marker for studying the origin, genealogies, and historical connections of horse patrilines. Here, we performed fine-scaled MSY haplotype (HT) analysis in two Baroque horse breeds, the Lipizzaner and the Kladruber, both known for their long-standing tradition of sire line breeding and interconnected genealogies. We genotyped 95 MSY markers using KASP technology in 90 stallions representing all patrilines of both breeds.

Background: The purpose of this study was to test how musical flow using baroque (BM) and classical era music (CM) as a non-pharmacological therapy can control anxiety and pain levels among patients undergoing IPI (Immediate post-extraction implants).
Methods: 78 patients who required an IPI were enrolled in this randomized clinical trial. Each patient was assigned to one of the three experimental groups with a simple randomization: Group I (n = 26) listened to BM; Group II (n = 27) listened to CM; and Group III (n = 25) did not listen to music and was the control group (C).

Created and published in a printed volume in 1611, the emblem chosen by the literary Academy of the Umoristi is intriguing at multiple levels. At a time when the water cycle was still unknown, the image engaged the thorny question of how the evaporation of salty seawater, condensed into clouds, could subsequently pour down as sweet rain. Additionally, the Lucretian motto "Redit agmine dulci" audaciously evoked the philosophy of atoms.

Music and magnetic fields both play important regulatory roles in brain learning and memory. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of music rhythmic magnetic fields at different frequencies on long-term potentiation (LTP) in the Schaffer-CA1 region of the hippocampus, with the goal of elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying the impact of music rhythmic magnetic fields on brain learning and memory. Three different frequency music tracks were selected, including soothing track 1: Courante from the Baroque Suite, medium-frequency track 2: saxophone version of Liang Zhu, and high-frequency track 3: Johann Pachelbel's music track Canon (trumpet version).
