Background: Irinotecan demonstrates anti-tumor efficacy in preclinical glioma models but clinical results are modest due to drug delivery limitations. Convection enhanced delivery (CED) improves drug delivery by increasing intratumoral drug concentration. Real-time magnetic resonance imaging of infusate delivery during CED may optimize tumor coverage.

Our primary objective was to estimate the overall response rate to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in patients with locally advanced, multiply recurrent, or metastatic conjunctival melanoma treated with ICIs. A retrospective review of all consecutive conjunctival melanoma patients who were treated with ICI between October 2017 and January 2024 was carried out. The study included 16 patients with a median age of 66 years.

An important subset of meningiomas behaves aggressively and is characterized by multiple recurrences. We identify clinical, genetic, and epigenetic predictors of multiply recurrent meningiomas (MRMs) and evaluate the evolution of these meningiomas in patient-matched samples. On multivariable binomial logistic regression, MRMs were significantly associated with male sex ( = 0.

Pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is marked by low mutational load at initial diagnosis, which increases at relapse. To determine which processes are active in (relapsed) ALL and how they behave during disease progression before and after therapy, we performed whole genome sequencing on 97 tumor samples of 29 multiply relapsed ALL patients. Mutational load increased upon relapse in 28 patients and upon every subsequent relapse in 22 patients.

Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is an irreversible, degenerative condition that, while incurable, can have its progression slowed or impeded. While there are numerous methods utilizing neural networks for AD detection, there is a scarcity of High-performance AD detection chips. Moreover, excessively complex neural networks are not conducive to on-chip implementation and clinical applications.
