Objective: Neurosurgical care is difficult to access in many scenarios. Aeromedical evacuation of acutely unwell neurosurgical patients from remote, isolated or poorly equipped locations can be considered. This article aims to provide a framework of logistical factors which deserve special consideration in the preparation of these patients for transfer.

Objectives: Trauma poses a significant health burden in Saudi Arabia, with high rates of morbidity and mortality rates. We evaluated the trends among trauma team (TT) physicians in Saudi Arabia regarding their awareness and referral practices for percutaneous endovascular arterial embolization (EAE) in bleeding patients.
Methods: A 13-question survey developed by consultants from various specialties assessed the knowledge of TT physicians regarding decision-making and appropriate approaches for managing traumatic bleeding.

Unlabelled: is to assess the effectiveness of a new neuroanesthetic protocol for treating degenerative lumbar spine diseases in high-risk patients.
Materials And Methods: Two groups of patients with a high risk of anesthesia and surgery determined by the authors' clinical decision support system (CDSS) have been prospectively studied. A new neuroanesthetic protocol was used in the experimental group (EG, n=25), while the control group (CG, n=25) underwent intravenous anesthesia based on propofol and fentanyl.

Introduction: Unilateral biportal endoscopy (UBE) is a minimally invasive surgical (MIS) technique utilized for lumbar decompression, which has recently gained popularity in Europe. We aimed to explore the value of sequential adaptive e-learning, followed by simulator-based hands-on training modules for UBE at the occasion of the 2024 EANS Young Neurosurgeons meeting.
Materials And Methods: An adaptive e-learning was designed by learning engineers (Area 9 Lyceum), based on theoretical content provided by two endoscopic spine surgeons.
