We discuss rigorous results on the rate of mixing for an idealized model of a class of fluid mixing device. These show that the decay of correlations of a scalar field is governed by the presence of boundaries in the domain, and in particular by the behavior of the modeled fluid at such boundaries.

The extinction of species is a major threat to the biodiversity. Allee effects are strongly linked to population extinction vulnerability. Emerging ecological evidence from numerous ecosystems reveals that the Allee effect, which is brought on by two or more processes, can work on a single species concurrently.

We report full quantum-computed average microcanonical, initial state-specific, and canonical cumulative time-delays associated with the O + O scattering, presented as a function of total energy (in relation to an idealized molecular beam experiment) or temperature (for the properties of the gas phase in bulk conditions). We show that these quantities are well-defined and computable, with a temperature-dependent (canonical) time-delay presenting a smooth, monotonic decreasing behavior with temperature, despite an energy-dependent (microcanonical) time-delay of apparent chaotic character. We discuss differences in behavior when considering isotopic variations, O + OO and O + OO, with respect to the reference process O + OO and reveal a greater magnitude of the cumulative time-delay when genuinely reactive events can take place, in the presence of O.

The scheme utilizes DM-OFDM-IM, where subcarriers within each subblock are divided into two groups, each modulated by distinct signal constellations. DM-OFDM-IM leverages the sequential information from the modulated constellation to transmit extra information, leading to a substantial enhancement in spectral efficiency.

The motivation for this article stems from the fact that medical image security is crucial for maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting against unauthorized access or manipulation. This paper presents a novel encryption technique that integrates the Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Networks (DCGAN) and Virtual Planet Domain (VPD) approach to enhance the protection of medical images. The method uses a Deep Learning (DL) framework to generate a decoy image, which forms the basis for generating encryption keys using a timestamp, nonce, and 1-D Exponential Chebyshev map (1-DEC).

Background: To investigate prenatal ultrasound findings and the chromosomal outcomes of mosaic embryo transfer.
Methods: This retrospective study was conducted on pregnant women who underwent mosaic embryo transfer following blastocyst-stage preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) at CHA Gangnam Medical Center from January 2021 to July 2024. Trophectoderm biopsy specimens were collected using standard protocols, and next-generation sequencing profiles were defined as mosaics when displaying copy number counts in the 20-80% range.
