An aqua-bridged Mn metal-organic framework was prepared, and a dramatic structural transformation occurs upon solvent exchange-resolvation and desolvation-resolvation processes. The desolvated phase, formed by removing the aqua bridges, exhibits selective CO(2) uptake over N(2), H(2), and CH(4). Further, antiferromagnetic couplings are also found between Mn spins in the secondary building units.

As a special kind of supramolecular compound with many favorable properties, pillar[]arene-based supramolecular polymer networks (SPNs) show potential application in many fields. Although we have come a long way using pillar[]arene to prepare SPNs and construct a series of smart materials, it remains a challenge to enhance the mechanical strength of pillar[]arene-based SPNs. To address this issue, a new supramolecular regulation strategy was developed, which could precisely control the preparation of pillar[]arene-based SPN materials with excellent mechanical properties by adjusting the polymer network structures.

The rising demand for efficient energy storage in flexible electronics is driving the search for materials that are well-suited for the fabrication of these devices. Layered Double Hydroxides (LDHs) stand out as a remarkable material with a layered structure that embodies exceptional electrochemical properties. In this study, both double-shelled and single-shelled NiFe-Layered Double Hydroxide (LDH) particles are prepared using spindle-shaped MIL-101(Fe) as the template.

Developing simple and efficient extraction methods for phenolic substances from coal tar, which facilitate their direct transformation into high-performance electrode materials, holds considerable practical significance. In this study, amide-zinc chloride deep eutectic solvents are employed for efficient phenol extraction. The optimal phenol extraction process is subsequently investigated, and it is found that the robust hydrogen bonding interactions between solvents and phenols significantly enhance extraction efficiency.

A bolt loosening detection method based on the summation coefficient of the absolute spectrum ratio technique is proposed to address the prevalent issue of bolt loosening in mechanical connections. This proposed method involves initially collecting vibration and rotation speed signals of the motor bolt connection structure, acquiring the baseline spectrum curve of a healthy structure and the spectrum curves of non-healthy structures under different degrees of bolt looseness through chirp Fourier transform (CFT). Subsequently, the spectrum ratio curves between healthy and non-healthy structures are calculated for different degrees of bolt loosening, and then the Summation Coefficient of Absolute Spectrum Ratio (SCASR) is defined to indicate the looseness.

Megavoltage computed tomography (MVCT) plays a crucial role in patient positioning and dose reconstruction during tomotherapy. However, due to the limited scan field of view (sFOV), the entire cross-section of certain patients may not be fully covered, resulting in projection data truncation. Truncation artifacts in MVCT can compromise registration accuracy with the planned kilovoltage computed tomography (KVCT) and hinder subsequent MVCT-based adaptive planning.
